What moves the number
Why two quotes on the same car differ.
- Size and shape of the vehicle. A Cybertruck and a Miata are not the same job. Deep bumpers, spoilers and complex mirrors take more film and more hours.
- The film you pick. We install 3M, Avery Dennison and Inozetek for wraps, and XPEL and SunTek for PPF and tint. Chrome, color-shift and textured films cost more than a standard gloss.
- Coverage. Full wrap, partial, roof and pillars only, full front PPF versus full body. This is usually the biggest lever you control.
- Condition of the paint. Film needs a clean, sound surface. Peeling clear coat, old adhesive or previous wrap removal adds prep time.
- Disassembly. Pulling handles, badges and trim gives a wrapped edge that lasts. It also takes longer than tucking.
